It’s that time of year again. It’s not quite winter, but you can feel it coming. The days are getting colder, the evenings are getting darker. You’re surprised when a sunny day occurs as it feels like ages since the summer sun last appeared on your smiling, breaming face. But then it’s gone again. And you’re reminded that summer’s gone, and winter and rain storms are on their way.
Let me ask you something, do you have to put up with this? Do you have to suffer a full winter of rain and rain jackets, or would you not rather get away from it all and re live the summer while every one else is suffering from winter blues?
Picture it now, you in a sunny country in the middle of December. Mens swimming trunks on as you sip margaritas by the pool, writing post cards to cold friends half way across the world.
Now I know this isn’t possible for a lot of people, it would cost a lot to go away around Christmas time. Then why not get away in January or February? While it would be ideal to go away for a few weeks (Or even the whole winter period), if you could at least get away for a while that would make all the difference. Then when you get back it will be cold, but hopefully you would’ve made enough memories to be able to handle it for the last month or so of winter.
Getting away can really give you a positive boost, one that should allow you to face the rest of the winter better (If you don’t go away for the whole time). If sipping cocktail in your mens swimming shorts sounds like a plan to you, start saving and make it happen as soon as possible.
