Unless we have pots of money at our disposal we do tend to buy what we can afford without breaking the bank and this is a sensible way to do things. But sometimes it is better to wait a little longer and buy something a little more expensive that will save you money in the long term.
Obviously, kitchen gadgets are something that we use every day so they take a lot of ware and tear and if you keep opting for cheap ones although they appear to be cheap they will prove to be expensive in the long run as you will need to keep replacing them. The conclusion that I have come too is that rather than buying a whole set of pots and pans that seem like a good deal, I would rather use that money and just buy one or two quality pots as and when I can afford them.
You may find this surprising but with a good quality stainless steel pan you will save money as the heat distribution will cook your food better and hold the heat for longer meaning that you will use less gas or electricity. The other thing of course with stainless steel is that it will always look good no matter how many fashions come and go there will always be a place for stainless steel in the kitchen.
This is a material that is so easy to clean unlike cheaper materials that you can wear them out just with the cleaning process especially things like non-stick pans that the coating starts to come off almost immediately. In fact the only thing that is in the same league as stainless steel would be cast iron but unfortunately that is expensive as well. So the old saying is true you only get what you pay for.
