If you are looking for a camera to accompany you on your surf trips then you may want to look at the GoPro Hero2 Surf Edition which is a camera that has a lot to offer. I am a surfer and I have been through a couple of cameras, but this one stands out strong. You can’t expect a flimsy plastic camera to last all that long in any kind of surf environment. This is not only been talked about in the surfing world, but kayakers and other water enthusiasts are going crazy about the GoPro. You will find that the software is easy enough to operate. It is not like some cameras where you have to take a week off just to learn how things work.
All in all, I would rate this camera as one of the leading and up coming brands.
