You may notice things are a bit boring here – black and white.  That’s because that’s the way I like it.  This website is here to provide information in the form of useful articles.  Call me a grumpy old codger, but I don’t get the Twitters, and the Widgets and all that other nonsense that makes a blog or a website look like some sort of online carnival.  When I’m looking for information, I want words; black on white.

That’s what you’ll find here –  loads and loads of information, with no annoying widgets.  If you want to share this info with your friends, you’re clever enough to do so without the aid of some sharing widget, I’m sure.  The only thing I’m concerned with is making it easy for you to find and browse our articles, which is what our trusty list of categories and search functions are for.

So feel free to look around, but don’t expect to find anything exceptionally beautiful here, unless you find words beautiful, which I do.
